What are the check-in and check-out times at the Commander Hotel & Suites?

At the Commander Hotel & Suites, check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you need an earlier check-in or later check-out, we will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.

Do I need a credit card to check in, and is there an incidental fee?

Yes, a valid credit card is required at check-in to cover remaining room charges and taxes. An additional incidental hold of $20 per day is placed on the card, which is released 3–5 business days after check-out.

What is the minimum age to check in?

Guests must be at least 18 years old to check in at Commander Hotel & Suites.

How can I cancel or modify my reservation?

Most reservations can be modified or canceled up to 3 days before arrival. Contact your original booking source for assistance. Some bookings require full prepayment and may not be modified.

Is the Commander Hotel & Suites a pet-friendly hotel?

We love furry friends, so we offer pet-friendly accommodations in our Cabana building, which offers spacious suites with full kitchens, pool views, and family dining space.

An additional fee of $125 per stay up to seven nights applies. The pet fee is at the hotel’s discretion for additional nights.

Does Commander Hotel & Suites have oceanfront or family-friendly suites?

Yes, our oceanfront suites provide oceanfront views, private balconies, and plenty of space for families.

Oceanfront suites are in high demand, so booking early is recommended.

Does Commander Hotel & Suites have a swimming pool and other amenities?

Yes! Commander Hotel & Suites features both an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool, perfect for families. Other amenities include oceanfront suites with private balconies, free Wi-Fi, and convenient on-site dining options.

Is Commander Hotel & Suites located near beach and Boardwalk and are lifeguards on duty?

Yes! We’re located directly on the famous Ocean City Boardwalk, with oceanfront accommodations just steps from the beach. Beach access is included for all guests. Ocean City lifeguards patrol the beach from May through September.

Note: Commander Hotel & Suites pools do not have lifeguards.

Are there dining options on-site or nearby?

Yes! Enjoy on-site dining at Bai-Tee Bakery, The Kebob Project, Fractured Prune, and Sweet Spot dessert. The boardwalk and surrounding area also offers a wide variety of restaurants, from fresh seafood to family-friendly dining, all within walking distance.

Is parking available at Commander Hotel & Suites?

Parking is available at $20 per night for one vehicle per room. Additional public parking is nearby.

Does the hotel have a fitness center or spa?

We do not have a fitness center or spa, but our indoor pool is open daily, and walking or running along the boardwalk provides scenic oceanfront cardio.

Does Commander Hotel & Suites offer airport transportation?

We do not provide airport transportation. Nearby airports include SBY, BWI, and IAD. Super Shuttle or other ground transportation can be arranged directly.

Do you have smoking rooms available?

Our hotel is completely smoke-free. Smoking is not allowed inside guest rooms or on the balconies, and a fee of $500 is assessed for doing so.
