ICE MACHINES
Ice machines are located throughout the property. Oceanfront building: 3rd floor; Cabana building: 2nd floor, Beach House: lobby level.
IN ROOM SAFE
Each Oceanfront and Cabana room is equipped with an in room safe. Simply secure items inside, close the door, select the four digit code of your choice and press lock. When you’re ready to retrieve your items, enter the four digit code and the safe will open.
KEY CARD
Should you lose your key card, or your key is not working, please notify the front desk immediately. Photo ID is required of the registered hotel guest. Please return your key card to the front desk upon departure.

PARKING
There is a $20.00 parking fee plus tax for all vehicles. The hotel cannot be responsible for items left in vehicles on the property.
At the Commander Hotel & Suites, check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you need an earlier check-in or later check-out, we will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.

Commander Hotel & Suites features both an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool, perfect for families.
- Our indoor pool is open from 10AM to 10PM daily.
- Our seasonal outdoor pool is open from 10AM to 7 PM, weather permitting.
Children must be accompanied by a guardian. No glass on premises. Swim at your own risk as there is no lifeguard on duty. Pool towels are available in the pool area.
At check-in, please notify the front desk that you are traveling with your pet. Our Pet friendly accommodation is arranged in the Cabana Suites. There is a non-refundable pet fee per stay. No more than two pets per room.
Housekeeping will not enter the room where pets are left unattended. Pets must be kept on a leash in a carrier or otherwise restrained when in public areas of the hotel. Pets are not allowed in any dining facilities nor the pool areas. You are financially responsible for all damages caused to the hotel by your pet. Stop by the front desk for a list of pet friendly restaurant and businesses in the area.
SERVICE ANIMALS
Our hotel welcomes service animals that are trained to perform specific work or tasks for individuals with disabilities in all areas open to guests. Pet fee and policies do not apply to service animals.
Yes! Enjoy on-site dining at Bai-Tee Bakery, The Kebob Project, Fractured Prune, and Sweet Spot dessert. The boardwalk and surrounding area also offers a wide variety of restaurants, from fresh seafood to family-friendly dining, all within walking distance.
SMOKING
To ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for all guests, our hotel maintains a strict non-smoking policy across the premises. Smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms and balcony areas. Smoking is not allowed in any indoor common area or outdoor seating and pool areas.
The designated smoking area is accessible through the lobby. See front desk for directions. These areas are equipped for smoking and benches for guest convenience. A $250.00 fee will be applied to any guest room or balcony that is found to have been smoked in, to cover costs of deep cleaning and restoring the space for future guests. All guests are expected to comply to the policy and address any violations promptly.
Parking is available at $20 per night for one vehicle per room.
Guests who do not wish to purchase on-site parking are responsible for securing their own off-site parking. Please note that off-site parking facilities are not associated with the hotel.
